If you happen to be a fan of indie/arternative rock with a heavy shoegaze-influenced style of music, which really was in its prime from the late 1980s through the early 1990s, then you’ll be glad to know that this style of music still lives on today that is being produced new musical groups. You’ve probably been waiting for quite some time to hear new music from the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Swervedriver, Slowdive, Galaxie 500, or Catherine Wheel, and although some of these bands are back together you’ll be waiting for quite some time to hear anything new. The great bands from the UK that created what is probably the most melodic of musical styles in recent times, still have influence today by inspiring new musicians that are making this music today. Luckily, we’ve found My Raining Stars from France who have been influenced by some of the best possible bands we can think of, and you’ll hear it in their music. If you’re looking to get a taste of what their sound is like you can find them on MySpace/MyRainingStars and give them a thorough listening. If you like what they have as much as we do, then let them know, so that we can hear more from them in the future.
